The National Waterproofing Group went through a lot of developments and enhancements during 2023, so we thought it would be a good idea to share our 2023 roundup.
A brand new website
As your trusted group of dedicated contractors based all around the UK, we decided it was time to transform our website into an online hub of advice, guidance and inspiration. You can now find everything you need in regard to waterproofing, gas membranes and other specialist services, which are provided by our eight members:

We’ve ramped up our LinkedIn page
You can’t launch a new website without making sure your social media is regularly updated, so you can rest assured that our LinkedIn page now shares the latest news as well as details of our specialist services. You can also get in touch with our group through this page using LinkedIn’s recently launched company pages messaging feature.
The Property Care Association Awards
In July, members of the National Waterproofing Group came together at the University of Warwick in Coventry for the 13th Annual Property Care Association Best Practice Awards. The PCA is the UK’s leading trade association for property care and this prestigious event recognises and celebrates key achievements across the property industry. With members that include surveyors, consultants, architects, manufacturers, distributors, third party gas verifiers and a wide range of contractors based all around the UK, the competition is fierce.
That’s why we were delighted when three NWG members took home an award or two each. Guardian Preservation won ‘Contractor of the Year – Preservation’ and their team member Rich was named ‘Technician of the Year in Preservation’. RTC Group also celebrated that evening, as they received the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ award for the second year running. Meanwhile, Cook Group were highly commended in the ‘Sustainability’ category and their team member Neil was awarded ‘Technician of the Year in Structural Waterproofing’. Needless to say, we made sure to have a good old knees-up that evening!
